Club Story
From Wellfield to Banky Lane
The football story began in 1993 with Tony Lowe's coaching centre at Wellfield Junior School. Built around football for all abilities, the club became Ashton on Mersey JFC in 1997 and has grown into one of the area's largest grassroots football communities.
